Grant Hammel
Production and Editing Intern
I was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. I moved to Denver at age 19 to go to school at the University of Colorado Denver. I received a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. During my senior year, I collaborated with local design guru Bryan Leister to design a skateboard deck for the AIGA sponsored Bordo Bello design contest. We didn't win. I spend much of my free time skateboarding, listening to oldies, reggae, old reggae, watching hockey, traveling, and spending time with friends. I love Colorado, especially Denver, even though I don't care for snow.

Jeremy McKinnon

Originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, I moved to Denver shortly after college in 2002 to get the variety of the city life, but also have the beautiful Rocky Mountains outside my back door. I worked for a non-profit when first arriving and worked as a superintendent/project manager for the last five plus years. I decided to take a different path recently by resigning from my construction position. I plan to travel and enjoy my time off this year. I decided to volunteer at Denver Open Media because of the creative environment and it gave me the opportunity to learn about visual media. While I am not volunteering I enjoy rock climbing, soccer, trail running, and skiing.
